Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time (DST) is the method of setting the clock forward to an hour during longer daytimes to have more daylight in the evening. This year, the U.S. Daylight Savings Time will be observed from the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November.  The “spring forward, fall back” method perfectly aligns with the seasons during DST. Clocks move forward an hour from 2:00am to 3:00am in the springtime, then back from 2:00am to 1:00am in the fall.

Next only to France, the United States of America has the second-most number of time zones observed by the country and its territories.
